Mat Kearney

Mat Kearney, Bullet – a must have CD. Although the CD has a particular feel and direction, it demonstrates Mat’s versatility throughout. As Steve and I have talked about it (enthusiastically) I wind up describing it as having an urban-Coldplay vibe. That certainly does not do the album justice, since this is not an imitation of any other artist, but it evokes some of the same feelings in me as when I listen to Coldplay. Listen and I think you’ll get what I’m trying to say. More than likely, this is not what you are used to playing in the car or at home. But give it a shot.

    Right on. I would never buy a CD like this. Not my style. Or so I thought. After getting it, it’s a current favorite of mine. Excellent.

    this guy is coming to Vancouver on Tuesday. I thought I had heard his name before and so I came back here digging for it.
