Another denomination that has had to try to speak circles around Scripture in favor of abstinence is the Assembly of God. In their Bible, something like &quot;Spirit-filled Bible&quot; they have many words to try to explain away Jesus&#039; miracle in John 2 of changing the water to wine. But God uses us all, in spite of ourselves. We need to speak truth in love at times, then let it go.</description>
