Tomorrow some of the men from Grace are getting together for a camping retreat that was organized by one of our deacons, Ed. I’ve been looking forward to hanging out with the guys. It reminded me of something I read in Driscoll’s The Radical Reformission.
I attended their men’s retreat in Idaho with other hairy image-bearers of God, and spent a weekend talking about such things as sex, pipe tobacco, and mono-theism. It was about the best weekend I could remember having in my life at that time.

I just read Radical Reformission this summer after attending Driscoll’s Mars Hill Church. I love the raw way he put things. Just cut to the chase and give me an hour-plus of the Gospel, please!
