She Reads

Okay, one last post, then I'm outta here for real this time . . . It seems everyone's talking about God is the Gospel by John Piper. To date, I've thought very highly of Piper's writings.. I've never heard him

Jeremy P.,

I classified the reviews simplistically to summarize, and I chose those four to give balance. Two came off (to me) as more negative, and two came off positive.

Wink said the first three chapters drove him to worship. I wouldn't have described that as a negative review. Adrian Warnock actually called it a positive review, but I disagree with him too. It simply makes one positive statement and two negative statements, and it spends a similar enough amount of time on each of the three.

Joe,
I liked the book too. I read a couple of reviews by people who said it was a waste of time to read, but I for one did not understand their arguments. Oh well.
