Theology Pub

We have a number of small gatherings as Grace Baptist Church – a lot for a small church. We have four Home Groups that meet weekly in three different cities, and monthly gatherings like our two women’s groups (Women of Grace and Book and Cook) and of course Theology Pub. I love these gatherings that bring us together to fellowship, talk Scripture/theology, laugh, pray and build friendships. Last night we walked through the Mosaic Covenant at Theology Pub in DeKalb. Two more gatherings in this series and then we’ll start topical discussions: The Gospel Contextualized, Redeeming Art and Culture, God Gave Wine, God and Politics and more. If you have some ideas or topics you want to discuss, let me know.

    Joe, I enjoy reading your blog. It made my day to see a picture of my cousin, Chris, here in your post. Say hi to him for me. The Theology Pub sounds like it would be fun. Some guys at my church talked about starting something like it, but it hasn’t happened yet. Keep up the quality blogging.
