Tom, our next lesson will cover the mistake of calling the tattoo machine a tattoo "gun." Be warned - it is a machine, not a gun. Some of them take that very seriously. lol

Thanks for that perpsective on Mondays. It's actually very helpful.

It's the Elijah syndrome--big downer after a day of intense spiritual exuberance and warfare. I used to take Mondays off but I got tired of feeling that bad on my own time. :-) Now, I relegate as many administrative responsibilities as I can to Monday and figure if I get anything beyond that accomplished, it is an added bonus.

But then again, I never even knew that tattoo studios close on Mondays. In fact, I didn't even know they were called studios.

Thanks for the continuing education.

Brad, that's fair - but it is not what most pastors seem to mean. Also, I tend to find the opposite experience, more like Steve's. Throughout the week I am being humbled, taught by God. By Sunday I am ready to share what God has been teaching me and it is a convergence of conviction and encouragement - generally. Sundays I am spent. Mondays are a day of rest.

Steve, I deserve that.

Joe, I laughed out loud after deciding to say that about tattoos and NOT put a smiley after it. I knew you would like that. And I'm doing whatever I can to help get this thread off topic like you do on my blogs. :)

Brad, so if we aren't depressed on Mondays, is it because we aren't humbled by Sunday's sermon? Haha. Kidding. Usually Friday and Saturday I'm humbled, Sunday morning I'm excited and can't wait to preach, Sunday afternoon I'm wiped, and Monday I'm ready for whatever.
