Some of you watched the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie back in 1990. I didn’t like it. In 2007 a new TMNT flick will be released – all computer generated. I have to say the teaser trailer look very good, and I am interested. My two year old son sat at my computer watching it over and over while I straightened up my study. “Wow… frogs are jumping…hahaha!” Pretty close to my reaction, except that I know they aren’t frogs. Check it out at the Apple Trailer site.

the original comics were pretty great- a combination of homage to Frank Miller Daredevil and some really clever writing… the whole movie sell-out was absolutely appaling-
“Cowabunga, Dude!”????
If they can actually go with the spirit of the original…
I have a two year old son as well…
I made the mistake of showing the trailer to my four year old and now she wants to watch it over and over and over and . . . I blame you for that Joe (smile).

I was a fan of the black and white comics too. I hope this will be a little more faithful to that style – gritty and visceral. The pre-cowabunga turtles definitely had societal conformity issues. That’s what attracted me to them to begin with.
Batman… Superman… Spiderman… X-Men… The Fantastic Four… Transformers…
and now… The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles…
phenomenal.
have you seen the transformers trailer yet? omgoodness…
Oh yeah, I am way more excited about that one. Looks like Peter Cullen (original voice of Optimus Prime) will reprise his role in the film.
Transformers & TMNT both look good, for different reasons.
I think I am more excited about “Borat.”
