Friday Photos

The top picture was taken near my house. I really liked the different textures, the tags and the red posts contrasting against all of the gray tones. I was able to get pretty low for a more interesting perspective. The bottom picture was taken at what had to be the dirtiest, most archaic doctor’s office I have ever been in. But that worked out great because they had some amazing looking, old, equipment there that looks suitable for torturing people… and I got to take some pictures.

UPDATE: I just saw that one of my pictures of my daughter is being featured today on Chicago Public Radio’s website. If you missed it, here’s a screen grab.

… Grace is blessed indeed! (And I am being most sincere.)

    Have a great weekend.

  2. Well, technically I have not been published in BP (despite my submissions). But thanks brother. See you Sunday.

  3. So, what IS that instrument? EEG? EKG? Do you think it was placed there to scare the patients?

I was telling my co-worker about your picture on the NPR site. She asked what church I go to. I exited the NPR site and the next page showing was this one. She looked at that picture and said, “what kind of church IS this???”

I told her we employ unique methods to keep our members.

    Joe-
Do you happen to live in the ghetto? I have noticed quite a bit of graffiti in your pictures. Or are you trying to show both of your forms of art at one time? ;)

  5. Aaron, no, but I am attracted to all things old, decaying, abandoned, etc.

Chris, I believe this was originally called a dissent deterrent. :)
