Family and Holidays

Each year, sometime after Thanksgiving, we send off a family picture/Christmas card to our friends. I was tempted to send this off as our family (South Park) portrait, since this is essentially what we look like, but I don’t think Jen will go for it. I hope someone doesn’t use this as evidence of us being “South Park Evangelicals.”

(Elias, me, Jen and Katherine “contextualized” in South Park)

Today we are heading off to Chicago for the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. This will be the kids’ first real memory of Chicago, and the kick-off to the holiday season for us all, so we are really looking forward to it. I hope to take some pictures and upload them to Flickr.

  1. Joe, that looks just like you. If only you could add a pipe or cigar.

  4. Why do you look so sweet and innocent in your picture along side your very sweet and innocent looking family, while Steve looks, well…?

Are you making some kind of statement, Joe?

  5. Did you make those yourself, or is there a site that generates them? You should make that your Christmas card.

  6. To restate Stuart’s question, did you do the pics or did ya’ find a website that generates them? I would love to have one for my family.
