2007 Calendar

I finally received my copies of the 2007 Chicago Public Radio calendar. The calendar is made up of photographs taken by locals and was given to those who pledged support for WBEZ/Chicago Public Radio during the last pledge drive. Two of my photos were chosen, one for February and another for June. Pretty cool.
A year ago I picked up a good camera and started taking pictures for two reasons: I enjoy it, and I hoped it would be another opportunity to connect with the community on a number of different levels. So far it has been a great experience.

Very cool!
Been reading your blog for a bit now, and like it alot. Enjoy the pictures too.
I just started a photo project 365 on my blog and on flickr, trying to post a photo a day for a year. We’ll see how it goes!
Cool Jim. I almost did a similar project 365 this year, but chickened out. I’ll check out your stuff later today.

Awesome Joe — congrats! As I’ve said before, I’m a raving fan of your photos.
Joe,
This is great. And it was a creative way to connect with your community. It is cool to see God bless it in this way. I too have been enjoying your photos.

Joe,
I’m always checking out your photos, as well as Mr. McCoy’s too. Great job, always. I also enjoy the words you two put up!
You know by chance where I can get a CPR calendar?
Mark
Thanks Mark. They give the calendars as gifts to those who pledge some kind of support for WBEZ/Chicago Public Radio.
