The Paper Wallet

I have been in the market for a new wallet. I wanted something small and cheap. This morning I came across the Paper Wallet via Instructables.com. It took me a few minutes to make it and man this thing is great. It’s small enough to carry in your front pocket, will hold 4 easy access credit/id cards, two more cards “locked away,” and a lot of cash. Perfect for me since I like to roll with a big wad of cash. Or not. But seriously, this was fun and should work great. My new paper wallet is literally half the size and thickness of my old leather one. There are already some hacks for this on the website from other users. Check it out.

  3. I have to say, Steve McCoy showed me his tonight. I held mine up to his, and his was about three times smaller than mine. Maybe this a good thing to try out.

  4. Thanks Joe. I saw this in my feed reader on whatever site linked it, but I didn’t follow through. You made me take it seriously and now I use a paper wallet.

Dan, do whatever Joe says. It’s always best. :)

  5. Ok, just made it. Very easy to do. Not so sure about it. Ya think you can laminate it?

  8. Hi Joe,

I’m glad you liked the paper wallet! We’re running a DIY Wallet Challenge ending Sunday, so you should totally make a neat wallet to enter! Or if you don’t feel like making one, you can vote vote for someone else’s by just clicking the little “+” on the top right-hand corner of the screen.

    Thanks,
    Noah

  10. I don’t think I’ll use it for every day purposes, but it’s great for slacks or thin sweat pants, when you don’t want some buly wallet swinging around as you walk.
Seriously, though, somebody should check into laminating one. It would last forever. :-)
