There’s background to this photo. Right now, this is the Jalapeño Grill. They have some of the best Tacos around. Just ask Steve McCoy. When we’re hanging around in my area this is where we eat. But back in the 80′s (before I was converted) it was Sally’s Sub House. One day while inside Sally’s, waiting for my Pizza Puff to come out of the deep fryer, a young man took the time to share some of the gospel with me. That guy is now one of our worship leaders at Redeemer.

    Used to have lunch at Sally’s on Saturdays – lunchbreak from band rehearsal, which was in the shop at Klinkey’s Heating & Sheet Metal, just to the left of that shot. Good times, we were gonna be the next U2. But alas, Jimmy quit & Joey got married. I shoulda known that we’d never get far.
