Friday is here, so here are some photos from the past 7 days. The first is of a car I pass a few times a week, and always think, “Man, I should pull over and take a couple shots.” I finally did yesterday. I love those old “lead sleds.” My first car was 1969 Pontiac Catalina. BIG.
Speaking of big, bigger is better at my photoblog.
The second is of my son Elias. This was shot while I was chilling on the couch and Elias was playing with his new gun. The colors, his contemplative expression, and the various elements in the photo actually say a lot to me. As an old friend pointed out in the comments on Flickr, the cross behind him, the gun in his hands, baseball on his shirt – my son is faced with a lot of choices in his youth.
