I love Panera. Decent food and coffee and they have free wi-fi. Yesterday was a long day of work away from the fam’ (such days are not too common) so I wound up eating dinner alone at Panera in between meetings.

My daughter accompanied me to Starbucks today where she ordered a “decaf Mocha” for herself. I got an iced coffee. She worked on her coloring and I scribbled some initial thoughts on a passage in Genesis while the store played the soundtrack to Pulp Fiction. You can see it bigger at my photoblog.

Berry Picking

Jen and I took Elias and Katherine up north to an orchard, met the McCoy’s and picked raspberries together. Afterward we all drove up to Wisconsin, grabbed lunch. It was a great day. For a few more pics, check out my Flickr stream.

Like many others I took the family to the park to watch the fireworks. The kids got ice cream from the creepiest ice cream truck/guy ever, played with bubbles, and watched in amazement as the fireworks exploded in the sky.

Hiatus
