Blogging Again

by Joe Thorn on August 22, 2007

After a month and a half break I am coming back to blogging. No big story here, I said I’d be back when I announced the hiatus. But the short time away has helped me to figure out a better way to blog. In short, I will be blogging primarily on those things I believe are most relevant to my local church. Crazy idea huh?

During the hiatus a lot of things have been happening, and I will share them as I have time. Thanks for reading!

It’s nice to see that God finally answered one of my prayers! ;)

What? You weren’t also praying that someone would give you a Moses action figure? Because that would make two answered prayers in the span of one week.

    Moses was a bonus.

glad to hear you’ll be posting again. If family worship is relevant to your local church i’d love to see more posts from you on that topic. :-)

Thanks guys. Nick, that is a very relevant topic and it will probably come up again.

    I thought it might be.

We are developing a web site for our student ministry and I am considering having a weekly post on Family Worship. So I need more content to link to — as it stands I’m not sure how many weeks I will be able to go unless I link to the Puritans. I’m probably saying this to the wrong guy, but when I tried to look at some of their writing about family worship I really had trouble getting through it.

The Puritans are a favorite of mine, but they often get a bit bogged down in slight variations in principle and application that borders on redundancy.

Glad to see you back, Joe. I’ll be stopping by.
