Wassup Baby?
Posted by Joe Thorn - 18/10/07
My wife Jen is expecting our third child! We have been praying for years that God would give us more children, and he has helped us to remain patient until he gave us the desire of our hearts! Jen is 7 weeks along which means our newest looks something like the photo to the right. God’s decision and timing is always best, even if different than ours. Please pray for Jen and the baby and our very excited family!
My heart exults in the Lord;
my strength is exalted in the Lord.
My mouth derides my enemies,
because I rejoice in your salvation.There is none holy like the Lord;
there is none besides you;
there is no rock like our God.Talk no more so very proudly,
let not arrogance come from your mouth;
for the Lord is a God of knowledge,
and by him actions are weighed.The bows of the mighty are broken,
but the feeble bind on strength.Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread,
but those who were hungry have ceased to hunger.
The barren has borne seven,
but she who has many children is forlorn.The Lord kills and brings to life;
he brings down to Sheol and raises up.The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low and he exalts.He raises up the poor from the dust;
he lifts the needy from the ash heap
to make them sit with princes
and inherit a seat of honor.For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s,
and on them he has set the world.- Hannah’s Prayer, 1 Sam. 2

Awesome man. Glad to know those extremely tight little running shorts you wear aren’t at all restrictive.
Let us know how we can help and we’ll be there.

Wow, Awesome, Joe and Jen,
Congratulatins! It’s been forever since I’ve talked to you, but every now and then I check up on you through you blogs. I have a 7 mth old little girl now too. She is so much fun. I also took up jogging about a year ago, so it’s been fun to watch your progress, as I’ve been progressing.
Also, great photo of you and the kids while Jen was gone.
