Last year for some time I sat with Berkhof's Systematic Theology during my quiet times. I found that going through it during my times of prayer I was very focused Biblically in my prayer. Somehow I got distracted from that. Tomorrow morning I will return to it once again. I have always believed that a solid theology would show us who God really is and who we really are, and as a result we would come to grips with our need for prayer. This post is so true!
