I was reading the letters of Whitefield this evening and came across a letter he wrote to another pastor in 1739. In it he wrote, “The Christian world is in a deep sleep. Only a loud voice can awaken them out of it.”

Merry Christmas everyone. The fam’ was up early here - eating our traditional Christmas breakfast, opening stockings and presents, stoking the fire in the fireplace, and chasing the dog with Elias’ new remote control monster truck.
