Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone. The fam’ was up early here - eating our traditional Christmas breakfast, opening stockings and presents, stoking the fire in the fireplace, and chasing the dog with Elias’ new remote control monster truck. It’s a lazy day for now, but more of the fam’ will pile in around noon. If you want to keep up with our Christmas snapshots, you can find them at my Flickr stream.

  1. Can’t tell you how much I’ve longed for a lazy, quiet Christmas morning. I mean, I want those crazy moments of the kids’ elation, but after that, how about coffee and family time in the living room, talking and singing and playing together instead of rushing out the door for the first of 2 or 3 Christmas Day gatherings? Maybe next year we’ll have to host Christmas Day…starting at 3pm.
