I started running about a year and a half ago, lost a bunch of weight, feel a ton better, and just finished my first half marathon with a pretty respectable time. Plus it makes for great sermon prep thinking time. I'm wanting to do a full marathon sometime later this year and I'm curious which marathon you're planning to do... Chicago? I'm a runner too. I run, mostly hills (because of knee problems), about 4x a week on the trails near my house. Enjoy your runs in 2008. I can't imagine what it would be like to run in Illinois cold.
