Great words... thanks so much... I would recommend Gregory Boyd's book, "The Myth of a Christian Nation" to anyone who is concerned about the role of Christians in Politics and the world.

Thanks again!

SDG,
Matt

That quote from Chris Walke is profound and provocative. What a unique and inspiring thought; certainly not a paraphrase of what Derek Webb said in the bridge of his song. But he's wrong on one point: Y'see, I had my tv on, and I was standing so that I could see the tv in the mirror. CNN was running a story about the presidential campaign. Lo, and behold, I saw McCain, then Clinton, then Obama. They ARE the enemies! (Vote Huckabee?)

Thanks for this post, Joe. You have perfectly summed up for me what I've been thinking for the past year, and I think you may have explained this better than Gregory Boyd did in his book "The Myth of a Christian Nation" - and more succinctly, to boot!

Amen, brother!
