Check it Out

Some stuff worth checking out around the web.

Tom Ascol on Truth Happens.
“This video by Linux illustrates how ideas that finally win the day go through 4 phases: 1st, they are simply ignored; 2nd, they are ridiculed; 3rd, they are strongly opposed; and 4th, they triumph.”

What makes Ben Arment cringe makes me cringe too.

I want to live in one of these. Seriously. No, really.

The great Moleskinerie blog links to my post on how I set up a Moleskine. Thanks Armand!

  1. From the Hobbit house link:

The Dale family claims to have no real knowledge of architecture and says they built the home for 3,000 pounds (about $7,000) over a three month period using, get this, a “chainsaw, hammer, chisel, little else really”; also “men, lots of heavy lifting.”

Sounds like something you could do and afford! :)

  3. Sadly, Tim, even though Joe has many great qualities, putting anything together is not one of them. Seeing that I am the one who puts the Ikea furniture together, you can bet that the task of building the house would fall on me. I guess Joe might be able to help “hold” things. Sorry Joe, this is one dream that I don’t see coming true. :)

  4. This is why I married Jen. She keeps it real, and keep me humble (and puts things together for me). LOL.

  5. Thanks Joe. =) Love your photography by the way. Your Moleskin mind-mapping is fun to see…
