Not you. Never you. I may weep.

Just don’t become one of those Mac snobs. ;-)

I have used a macbook Pro for a little over a year now and I worked at our local Apple store for most of last year. It is honestly the best and easiest computer I have ever owned.

Assuming that this is your first Apple computer, If I may give you some pointers. There are a few things that you will want to download immediately that will make your life much easier. The first is Flip4Mac, it will let you play Windows Media Files in Quicktime. The other thing that you might find helpful is Flickr Uploadr. It will let you upload your photos from iPhoto without going through the Flickr interface.

And never ever be afraid to use http://www.apple.com/support/mac101/ I worked for Apple and every once and awhile I will go there when I am stuck on something.

I hope you enjoy your lovely new computer.

Joe, I have used the MBP for right at 2 years…. I just purchased a second one for the church two weeks ago. I absolutely love it…. After two years of mac use I cannot imagine going back to the pc world.

Congrats!

Welcome to Mac-land. I have used Macs now for 13 years and don’t ever plan on going back to using a PC if I can help it.

They say the learning curve is 14 days for the average person, you’ll be fine by the end of the day probably!

I’m not sure if I’m more happy for you or sad for me. But, I think it’s both. I think both are happening at the same time.

Glory, glory Hallelujah!

Give it two weeks and you’ll wonder how you ever lived before. :)

Joe, I am thrilled for you. Have had my revision one MacBook Pro for almost two years now and love it. I share your joy. I am trying to convince Canisius to buy me a MacBook Air upon my arrival.

I do not understand the difference between a Mac and a PC. I am ashamed.
