Vote for Reformissionary

by Joe Thorn on March 31, 2008

Go here and vote for Steve McCoy’s blog, Reformissionary. Should Steve win this popularity contest all proceeds will go to getting Tim Keller’s book, Reason for God, into the hands of those who need it. How cool is that?! I think the other bloggers said they were going to buy Why We’re Not Emergent and pass them out to young men with soul patches. So really, voting for Steve is a vote for the gospel.

Go here and vote for Steve McCoy/Reformissionary.

Wait a minute while I pick up the pieces of my broken heart . . .

Nice – very nice work Joe…Kimball gave a good review of Why We’re not Emergent.

It’s a joke brother. I am not Emergent either, and I have read Kimball’s review.

I totally got that its a joke and I thought it was great. “Nice” is how I express that…Sorry if we are missing each other. Look forward to meeting you some day – super work on the diagrams. Look forward to learning from your papers.

Good. I asked Steve tonight, “Am I mis-reading Reid?” Steve said I might be. Thanks for the clarification brother, and I look forward to meeting you as well – but I still hope you lose ;) .

Smile – I am well aware that I am going to go down.

Well, even when Steve wins – he’s still a Baptist.

Reid,

You’re not going down. I’m all about being ecumenical. Wanna build an alliance to counter the McCoy/Thorn/FaithMaps machine?

9 Steve McCoy April 1, 2008 at 1:35 pm

Yeah, Timmy. SBC’rs are famous for being ecumenical and building alliances beyond denominational boundaries. Good luck. :)

Timmy, you are funny man. If you want to shock the world and create controversy (something that the SBC seems to understand) drop me a note.

Something you can pray for us about…we leave Thurs-Sun to look for a home for our family in New Jersey. Pray for me and my wife. Everything looks expensive, old, smallish with smokin high property taxes. Kasey is a bit down about the housing situation.

Joe, back to your site today to be discipled by you in moleskinology – bought a new one and following you step by step :)
