Thanks for wetting my appetite for Pink's book Joe. I've seen this book around people's personal libraries and bookstores but have never gotten around to picking it up. Well now, I've got no excuses. By the way, very nice revision of your blog. Keep up the insightful posts.

I read this book in the late '90's and it has had a lasting impact in my life. Since reading it I no longer see God as a beggar struggling to get mankind under control but now see (in scripture) a God who is in complete control.

This was an awesome book, that really helped me acknowledge and surrender to Gods total sovereignty.

Pink goes through example after example of God doing His own righteous will, throughout the Bible, and we are in no position to judge or question it.

Definitely good for reminding us of our lowly place. That may sound discouraging to some, but I find it quite comforting that an all mighty God controls even the most minisquel facet of our lives.
