I think 'French Press' is what in the UK is called 'Caffitiere' (the French call it 'Piston Caffitiere'). I've got a little Star$ucks mug top filter that's great and really quick to use. At home I've got one of those Italian aluminium pots that sit on the gas hob - now that's great coffee! Great post Joe and I’m with you on the coffee. I mean review my sermon for Sunday AM. A friend (I think he is?) was in the Philippines last week and bought me a $50 jar of "civet coffee" or Kopi Luwak ... best known as "cat-poop" coffee. The civet cat eats the choicest coffee beans and the beans are uhh well look at the name, and then they are harvested, cleaned, roasted and sold for big bucks. I haven't ground the beans yet (sealed in a jar) ... I just keep looking at them and wondering what it will taste like? Some say chocolate, but I got an idea maybe "chicken."
