The Mortification of Spin is a great podcast to add to your queue. It also has the best graphic header of all podcasts. On the most recent episode they interview Pastor Tom Ascol about calvinism in the Southern Baptist Convention. Pastor Tom is a man I have long admired and respected, and I am blessed to call him a friend. Check out the podcast. If you like it be sure to subscribe.
God is always at work around the world, but we often don't get to see much of it outside of our own contexts. That's why I am excited that later this year Pastor Pat will be joining a team to visit a church plant we support in Fuchu, Japan, and in November I will be joining my friends in an Acts 29 church in Wellington, New Zealand for an Acts 29 Conference. Details will be coming soon, so watch for them. It's going to be great! Please remain in prayer for the work of God through his church in all the world.

These are small, but very good books on the atonement. For another great read that's free be sure to check out J.I. Packer's Saved By His Precious Blood. It's an introduction to John Owen's classic, The Death of Death in the Death of Christ.
