I have not been posting much lately. Priorities (family, church, etc.) sometimes eliminate blogging from my schedule. But this means I have a number of things floating around in my head that I hope to post next week. This week I went downtown to meet with Dr. John Koessler, a prof at Moody Bible Inst I had the privilege of sitting under back in the day. I took the train (cheaper than gas for the car) into the Loop and walked to my alma mater. This gave me time to take photos on the way to the school and back to the station. Here are two.
The first is of the Chicago Theater. I waited across the street taking a number of shots adjusting the shutter speed and aperture until I got the blur I wanted from the passing cars. I think Jen and I saw the Phantom of the Opera there (back when she wasn't into me). The second was shot in an alley off Dearborn. I shoot a lot of scenes like this. It may look empty to some of you, but spend some time with it.
