Brian Malcolm took this photo during a recent Theology Pub at our new location. The old pub relocated and meeting there in the future is up in the air. So we've been gathering at another great pub in our city (click the photo for a larger version). One of the questions I get from other pastors interested in starting this kind of gathering has to do with location. Some have explained that they simply don't have great pubs to meet in for this type of conversation, or that meeting in a pub is not the best option for them or their context. But this kind of public discussion can happen at coffee houses, diners, mall food courts, or college campuses-- anywhere that is easily recognized, comfortable, and conducive to thoughtful conversation. If you are holding any kind of public discussion regularly, I'd love to hear about it and your location.
