I'm looking forward to The 2010 Build Conference for Men in Normal, IL on October 23. This regional Acts 29 event is designed to equip men to re-center their lives around the Gospel. From the website:
Men often find their identity in creating, fixing, and building things, but fail to recognize their own need to be built and repaired. Sin has broken all of God’s creation, including men. Though we’ve built successful lives and lifestyles by the world’s standards, we’ve often built them apart from God’s design and Word. Thankfully, through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God has a plan of redemption for broken men through “the word of his grace” (Acts 20:32). The vision behind this conference is to build men... On the Gospel. With the Gospel. For the Gospel.
I have the pleasure of being one of the Main Session speakers along with Jonathan Dodson (Austin City Life) and Dr. Bob Smart (Christ Church PCA).
