Today at Redeemer Fellowship we spent our time in Matthew 27:57-66 focusing on the burial of Jesus. In Christ's death we see the wrath of God satisfied and sins atoned for. In the resurrection we see Christ's victory over death and the security of life for all believers. But what do we learn in the burial of our Lord? What is there to glean from the dark days in between Jesus' death and resurrection? The sermon is summarized in this: "The burial of Jesus teaches us patient hope in dark days."
