As another young growing preacher, I also like to see what other people use for notes. Could you sent them to me as well? I've done no-notes a few times, but I think I like having something.

As my Pastor is always in the lookout for new ideas (as am I) could I see a copy of your notes? Any books you might recommend?

Absolutely, brother. I'll send you a photo of my notes from that Sunday (yesterday). It amounts to a somewhat detailed outline on one small sheet of paper that fits inside my Bible. I have done manuscripts in the past, but this gives me more freedom, but keeps my thoughts organized.

We'll definitely meet up at T4G!

Joe, Hey brother, happy to hear of God's blessing in worship today! Your pic stirs a question in me. As I long to grow as a preacher, I've thought often about sermon prep, and how that relates to delivery. To be more specific - what should I bring into the pulpit with me. The full manuscript? Notes? An outline? I've been experimenting a little, and am wondering - is this what you take with you into the pulpit? It looks like it would allow you to be pretty "free." (coming from one who is feeling like having a manuscript ties me to my manuscript) Any thoughts you'd be willing to share with a wet-behind-the-ears preacher would be appreciated. And maybe we can talk more when we hook up at T4G. Thanks! Grace, Matthew

My wife and son enjoy football. Elias will even sit and watch an entire game by himself if the Bears are playing. But even I'll watch the Bears (lose).
